The Philosophy…

When I think about being a mother, a teacher, and a fierce custodian of the earth, I realize that each is bound in motherhood.

Until I became a mother I had no idea what true love was.

Until I became a teacher, I had little idea that my job would be bound up in fierce advocacy for some.

Until I really considered the future of the planet, for both my charges, and all creatures therein, I realized my fight  for them emanated from motherhood.
